Here is a feature of some beautiful photos I've favorited recently. Enjoy, and send love to the photographers!

I've been on here for a year, and this is my first journal entry.

These past two years I've put my camera down, per say, and completely disregarded photography. A big part of it is because of school, and another being Tampa is not so rife with interesting architecture and places. But my recent NYC trip inspired and disappointed me in equal proportions. I finally saw a city which is obligatory to see if you're an American, and took plenty of photos. But the photos are rushed; not the best in composition. I wish I took more advantage of Central Park and visited the High Line, and even Bryant Park, and eaten brunch in a flower-filled, bohemian place. But I didn't. There are more opportunities to visit this wonderful place.

Concerning New York City itself, I didn't realize how much I miss it until now, when I am in my home. I can definitely see myself living there, going to college. Completely impractical, though, because of the obscene rent you must pay. 

So here is my photo diary, bad shots and all. Enjoy.












Pictured above is a hidden plaza in SoHo. The lovely thing about New York is that there are hundreds of hidden nooks and crannies in the city, tucked away in folds of greenery.
